potstickers and corn on the cob
I'm gone to Portland for 3 nights for OSCON. On two of those nights Katina has left overs. The third night, she has Trader Joe's potstickers and corn on the cob for dinner. Saving grace is that the corn was the organic stuff we get from our farm. Ok. Not a saving grace, that was pretty sad.*
In other news, figs (black mission type) are in season in Northern California. Tomatoes, squash, and stone fruit are also in season.

*To preempt Katina from getting her own blog after calling her out on this one, I guess I should say something I've done that was pretty stupid myself.
This weekend I did the Marin Century. Lots of hills and it was pretty hard. I was going about 14mph on this flat and my front derailleur was sticky/stuck. I looked down at the wrong time and went into the side of the road and fell on my left side onto the road. Nice road rash on my arm and hip and lovely blood gushing down my arm. So, I bit it on a flat while riding my road bike. That too was pretty sad (but still not as bad as potstickers and corn for dinner).
