I'm sure you'll love your new Mac Mini. I've been a powerbook user since last october and I still can't believe how much better it is to be using Mac OS X. I kept my old PC because I thought there would be a bunch of stuff I'd need Windows for, but how wrong I was.

OS X handles everything perfectly, and with iLife thrown in free, there's no reason to keep a windows PC knocking about either.

I too am purchasing a 23" display to hook up to my 12" Powerbook. Keep us posted how you get on with your new setup.

This January marked my first year as a Mac user and I absolutely love my ibook. I can't believe that all these years, I've been a PC user. I've been assigned a new Dell laptop at work and it's horrible to use. It is slow, poorly-designed (CD/DVD that eject, compared to the smooth ease of loading a CD/DVD into the ibook), archaic, mechanical, cold, clumsy, clunky, chunky.
